Weekend Review: Supercross Returns to Anaheim

Supercross was back in Anaheim last weekend, and the color of the day was Pink, as in, breast cancer awareness pink. The riders were sporting pink jerseys, helmets, and even boots, and everywhere you looked there were signss exclaiming, “Save the tata’s!” and, “I love boobies!” Some of the teams even had special graphics and bodywork made. Weekend Review: Los Angeles Supercross

Los Angeles, the home of movie stars, smog, and more bumper to bumper traffic than an adult film. On January 22, 2011, the city also played host to round three of the Monster Energy Supercross Series in Dodger Stadium. A lot of people were pretty excited about the first race in Dodger Stadium, but being a big Giants fan, I didn’t share in the excitement. Just driving up to the venue made my skin crawl, and when I actually set foot inside the stadium, I could feel the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Fortunately, my love of dirt bikes was strong enough to forget about my hatred for the blue bums of baseball and enjoy what turned out to be the best race of the year. … Continue Reading
