Not really, he has always had the membership fee at E Street even before he took over Riverfront. When he took over Riverfront he promised not to raise the price from $15 which he didn't, but he didn't specify how long he would/could leave the price at $15. So finally he raises the price to $20 and is in line with every other track in the area and there was such an uproar from some of the people that you would have thought he had cancelled Christmas or something. Can you imagine the public outcry if he added the membership fee to Riverfront? But actually you're right, it's weird that at Riverfront you can ride a prepped full-sized beginner/intermediate level track, a prepped full-on SX-ish style track or a quad track (not to mention the kid's tracks) for only $20. I guarantee if someone new came to town and built the same set-up they could easily get away with charging $25 (I hope they don't...Todd!...) and nobody would even mention it.
