Adults need to take responsibility for another adult? No, no, no, and heck no. He's at least 21. When is a kid an adult nowadays, 30, 35? He has his own house, a job, come on now.
You don't go shifting blame on to the people around him, they aren't there to babysit.
If he's out getting arrested and crashing cars that's on him. Hey I don't agree with it, but it's on him and him only.
As far as being innocent until proven guilty in the U.S.A. it's more like your guilty until proven innocent.
