It's easy for us to sit behind our computers and bash on Jason Lawrence (heck- I'm doing it right now!), but it's hard to say how I would act if I had Jason's riding talent, and fat, pro contract. I would like to think that I would be more appreciative of what I have and behave in a more respectful manner. I know I would now, but I'm not so sure then. But, there are many young, pro riders with heaps of talent, and fat contracts that DON'T act like idiots, i.e. Villipoto, Dungy, Canard, etc...
I have respect for Jason's ability to ride a motocross bike, and that's it. Otherwise he is blowing a golden opportunity by being a complete moron. Funny, goofy behavior is just that- funny. Davey Millsaps is a funny, wise-cracking, talented rider. Is he in jail? No. As a professional rider, you are expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner. Jason Lawrence is not conducting himself well.
