Actually, adding more woodchips during the winter is a bad thing. The woodchips cause the track to hold water, so after a rain, the track would stay soaking wet forever. If the track is too wet it can't be prepped properly. AND ripping deeper wouldn't really help. Although CM is ripped, the tilling is what breaks up the dirt. The roto tiller needs more teeth, and they need to be positioned properly, which is not easy... just so you spodes know, now. [
