I've been to lots of soCal tracks. Some aren't all that "wide open". Perris and Starwest
(for example) are both relatively small.

Some aren't always prepped perfect. Sometimes the prep downright sucks.

Glen helen? prepped? Ha!

And yes, Land IS an issue. a BIG one. Land up here is way more expensive than in soCal.

Actually I think prep is about the same between norCal and soCal. To me the big
difference is layout and jump sizes. Many tracks (not all) in soCal have at least a
couple really BIG jumps. We just don't get that up here. I'm talking like 100 foot-plus.
So that I agree with. But the prep is about the same.
