If that bushing was missing for the last year, I think you would have noticed. You would have had excessive shift lever travel, and the shifting would have felt a bit "odd". But you never know. I had a tooth break off 4th gear at Hangtown on Sunday. 06 YZ250 with maybe a hundred hours. Odd failure. At least it's easier to work on than my CRF. Still, I'm not loving Yamaha right now. I wasn't really planning on splitting the cases just yet. Now I've got to do the crank, bearings, seals, etc. while I've got it apart. Hopefully I'll have it back together in time for the Hangover Marathon. Otherwise I've got to ride the CRF250.
