Re: Good job Motowest!

I just thought I'd throw this FYI out there...

The regular Sand Hill crew did the prep this last weekend. So, they are the ones to thank for the prep. No doubt they put some extra effort into it for the race, which is more than they sometimes do for regular practice.

Motowest is still deserving of much praise for the way they ran the races (as I've said in two other posts). They ran things like clockwork and I found all their staff to be very nice, friendly, talkative, etc.

Oh yeah... Motowest also gets credit for putting in the starting gate.

As for the jumps down by the stands... it's really the first one that is the problem. It is way to short for the height and trajectory of the take off. So, it requires some skill to scrub it correctly. I actually found that was a good place to close in on less skilled riders as they were bouncing through there, versus staying low, sucking up the faces, and driving through that whole section.

Anyway... yes, those few jumps could use some reworking to be ideal. The rest of the layout I think is super fun.
