Just a thought, but what about checking in to an asphalt re-grind like they put down at the Hangtown pit area. Isn't that stuff supposed to be cheap? You might check with one of the Dirt Diggers and see what they know about it. Also, what about asking Charlie Sexton, he used to work at Cal Trans he might still have a connection or two.
