I think a good fun trail ride is what I need right now..

Mammoth will probally be closed allong with georgetown and foresthill probally has a few feet of snow right now your best bet is probally red dog or somewhere that doesnt get closed because of wet weather

Lightbulb Re: Anyone up for a trail ride this weekend

Hey man i live in Redding! Yeah it is just for the day! it is 20 bucks a person and 10 bucks for additional hands! the beginner course is like 28-35 miles and all of it is wide enough for a quad so it is not to diddicult..but will still have some challenging parts! the big boy course is like 55 miles and it gets a little tough but minus maybe 3 sections it is not to awful!! They have is set up as one big course that everyone rides then there will be these random spots that say expert with an arrow and those are the long sections(harder) so you could just ride the course and then ride the tough trails till you get tired and once you are tired just ride the easier routes!! make sense?? i am a bad typer! The gates across the dam open at 730 first riders out at 9! first 150 riders get a tshirt! they do a spark arrestor check and and registration check! I love this ride i would drive for it! they must do something right casue it gets just as many or more bikes\quads than the hairscramble that comes to town! If you show up you can ride with me I am number 558 Kawi with a black desert tank! I will be with a guy that rides a cr 500 and i drive a blue toyota truck! they always have awesome prizes! two years ago the top hand got a cr 50! i always win like tye downs or lube or stickers its cool!! and entry also buys you lunch!! go to Redding Dirt Riders and load the flyer!! hope to see you there!

Re: Anyone up for a trail ride this weekend

Going to Foresthill on Monday with a group and the kids. It will be pretty mucky up there but it is always fun.

I think Stonyford may be a real challenge with all the mud (and snow) up there. Its hard enough to get up those hills on dry ground.

Ill send ya a pm with my number if your interested.
