Track was in great condition. Only barely sprinkled on Sat. for about 10 minutes. There was quite a good turnout. 20 motos total. DAMON got 3rd on the 65 and 13th I think, on the 85. Still a little timid with the 85. Had fun...

Hey Heidi, I just saw your post in the other LaGrange thread; Garrett got sick and we weren't really prepared FOR a longer trip so I just practiced AT Sand Hill Saturday. Glad you guys had good conditions. Did you notice if the vet turnout was very good WHERE ARE you guys going this weekend We're doing PC/Hangtown for the AMP race.

Hi Matt, sounds like you had fun at Sandhill though.... good for you. Hope Garrett is feeling better! I'm sorry TO say that I didn't even look at the vet classes on Sunday. Didn't know anybody there that was racing IN those classes. BUT, looking back AT the DAY's schedule, the entire vet class was run together in one race... ALL +30 and +40 together.... so I can assume that there weren't a ton OF them. We'll be at Prairie City this weekend too. Mark already chopped the firewood, so come hang out with us.

Hi Jenn, no, I did not see Bruno's crash personally, but one OF the kids we were WITH did. Said it was crazy. We were AT the starting gate WITH SOME friends AND I didn't even know what was going on! Then I overheard that it was Bruno, and then saw someone wheeling his 50 back and I've never seen a pair OF handlebars bent quite LIKE his were! I'm glad I wasn't standing anywhere near his crash, I could never bare TO see a little guy LIKE that take such a fall! He was FLYING this weekend. I sure hope he IS doing ok AND NOT IN a lot OF pain. He IS so little TO have such a big injury.

We talked to Lori, Bruno's mom AND she said that he broke his femur AND they had TO do surgery TO repair it. He didn't have to have any pins put in since it was a pretty clean break. He is coming home today! Kinda freaks you out, just goes to show it can happen at any time and to anyone.
