I had a crash at Club Moto about 7 years ago where my bike ended up looking just like that. It hurt.

i would cry like a little girl. I had a brand new bike a couple of years ago when i first started driving, bike tipped over in the back of my truck and almost fell out! i tie them down pretty good now though, and i never use old tiedowns, they arent as expensive as wheels and frames.

That guy posts regularly on a socal MX board, proride.com. His bike was on an UltimateMX Hauler and the locking pin sheared off. I think he ended up making a little deal with ASV and was able to get a replacement bike out of it. UltimateMX Hauler offered up a new hauler, but he wasn't terribly interested.
