Reed to ride 4stroke
TransWorld Motocross bumped INTO Team Yamaha's Chad Reed last night, and the former Supercross Champion reported that he has chosen to race the four-stroke Yamaha YZ450F in the 2006 Supercross Series. "The new aluminum-framed YZ450F is really, really good," he said. "I feel very at home on it on a Supercross track, and I definitely feel it is the way to go. We've got it pretty dialed IN through the little BIT OF testing we've been able to get done at this stage in the game, and I know it will be even better." With Reed confirming his four-stroke race bike, Ricky Carmichael's recent thumper appearance AT the US OPEN AND the amount OF Kawasaki KX450F testing we've seen James Stewart doing this week in California, we're betting that ALL OF this YEAR's superstars will be valve-and-cam machine mounted in 2006 |

All the 2 strokes are goin away man. I thought that 2 strokes would be around a little longer b/c of SX but i gusse im not right. THats ganna be so tight reed and bubba on the thumper. It will change everything though Reeds ganna win now.
