and as to the changes, believe me when i say that i am planning a significant change in april to both the front and back tracks and beyond.
i just havent been talking about it because i just wanted to bust it out when i could and that is in april. it wont be gnarly but it will at least be a fresh layout at the old riverfront. rr

SD...This is exactly what I was inferring...As you being a "washed up 29 year old Pro" and obviously with ideas and thoughts...My advice as a guy who knows business and promoting..This is a great tool for you to difuse the BS...Maybe its not what you like to do,,but when you do it and take the time,,the folks listen and at least know that you do care..And I am sure you do... My son personally loves both tracks but we are two hours away so we ride each one 5 times a piece annually...Good Luck on the changes and keep posting..It Helps!!

I'm really looking forward to the changes Rad! And just for the record I enjoy and appreciate what you and all the other track operators in the area do. The tracks that I frequent are always freshly tilled and watered at the beginning of practice and watered throughout as needed. As long as the tracks are groomed and flaggers are looking out for us I feel I am getting my money's worth, but layout changes are like the icing on the cake! And thanks for extending the E Street Thursday practices, if it's not raining on Thursday I'll be there!

bottom line is that we do the best we can all the time. some days are better than others. every track owner wants their riders to enjoy the place. i know i do. steve write says hes racing cmc because i made an imature post on a web site. eljif says the track prep sucks. taylor barry says the track prep was fine. mcdome ian says that i dont get the "big picture".
well anyways i love you guys, i am sorry i am lazy, that i dont care and that i suck at prepping tracks, i am sorry that i dont get the big picture, but hey what do you exspect from a 29 year old washed up pro rider that never finished high school? rr

Ok scott so your track might be alote better for these guys if you would get off the computer and go prep the track and till deep. Not all track operaters have time to hang out on the computer if in fact it is YOU responding. You might want to use another one of your screen names it looks like people are on to the RAD RIDER(Leroy Jones)

Re: Riverfront bashing
"and he should abolish the damn card. the estreet card is just a money grab for him" as quoted by mcdome in reference to Scott Davis.
I did some checking and this is what I came up with:
E St. card = $35.00 good for 1 year from THE DATE OF PURCHASE (Not to mention that a family can buy each additional family member an E St. card for only $10.00 each!!!)
GFI/AMP card = $35.00 good from Jan. until Dec. of the same year
CMC License = $40.00 good from Jan. until Dec. of the same year
Sooo.... Looks like the "damn card" is pretty much a requirement to race MX.
E St. gate fees = $10.00
GFI/ AMP gate fees = $10.00
CMC gate fees = $10.00
Sooo....Looks like gate fees are the reality you need to face.
E St. entry fees = $35.00 1st class, $25.00 each additional class
GFI/AMP entry fees = $30.00 1st class, $25.00 each additional class
CMC entry fees = $30.00 1st class, $25.00 each additional class
Sooo....Looks like entry fees are pretty close in price and it just depends on where you want to race.
This is not Bryan, but Karen (he and Brandi's mom). I am not sticking up for any particular track promoter. They each do a great job as far as I am concerned. It is ALOT of hard work and very time consuming. Input - good & bad - only helps them to understand how they are doing. As far as the $$ involved, face it, MX is not cheap, but it is an awesome sport that individuals and families enjoy and it's an opportunity to share time with some pretty cool people. Thanks!

I don't think the issue is with a card to race, but the fact that they are the only track (estreet) that requires one for normal practice days. If you don't have one you have to buy a day pass for 5 dollars. I know they word it as if you get a 5 dollar discount for having the card, but that is just a good marketing gimmick.
Scott does a fine job, and sometimes I would even say a great job (winters at E-street!!!).
Do I feel as if he has the two tracks with the most potential to be great? Yes!
Do I feel as if he goes up and beyound what is expected of him and pushes the limits of how great his tracks could be? No, But can you really get down on a guy for doing a B job instead of an A? A "B" job is still pretty damn good and even at a "B" (above average) effort, the tracks are some of the best in Nor Cal.

Re: Riverfront bashing
Wait a minute, a friend and I were going to go to Riverfront on Sunday. Do I have to buy a card or pay an additional 5 bucks to practice on Sunday? I just wanted to get back up there an check it out, have not been since the back track was added. It is a long drive from San Jose and I don't get up there as much as I would like. Whats it gonna cost me to ride Riverfront Sunday? we are trying to decide between Riverfront and Argyll but were pretty set on Riverfront cause it has been soo long and we both always liked the track just the way it is.
