i was thinkin though eljif, maybe you could spend more time analizing your own riding rather than the guys riding the tractors and you might not look so awkward on a motorcycle. just a thought...

Re: Riverfront bashing
this board is the reason i'm not on pirate4x4.com any more, people use message boards to bitch insted of talk about moto or 4x4s. they use boards as soap boxes to voice their opinoins on how crappy stuff is. pearsonally i think riverfront is a rip off right now and i wasent to happy at estreet last time i raced there. but cheese and rice people! stop and deal with it!!

Ha ha ha. I never said it was a pile, just not prepped very well. I'd gladly post this in a ride report but they don't do that anymore.
I will! Maybe you can post your bike and number so I can pick up some skills from watching you ride. And maybe you should spend a little time analyzing your spelling skills and you won't look so awkward when posting

What's ironic is that you probably don't realize just how much truth there is in that statement!

Re: Riverfront bashing
I have always love riverfront its a fun track to just go to and have a good time with my friends, you guys complain about the prep but i can care less if its rough or smooth I mean if its rutted up its a little extra training how many second moto's do you do run that are perfectly prep???? so the jumps aren't huge but there safe isn't that more important???? I always take people that are still learning to ride on tracks to riverfront because it a safe track. I was there last Thursday night and the track was perfect, people need to quit complaining. I wouldn't mind some bigger jumps on the main track but i'm happy with what is there

Re: Riverfront bashing
Sometimes this board makes me think I am living in the old communist U.S.S.R! This is America people!!! Its a capitalist society, where consumer reviews and competition constantly ensure we have the best products available. But for some reason motocross tracks are the only product, (yes they are a product) that we can't comment on their quality? How many bad reviews have Ford cars gotten over the years, and guess what they are still in business and they were forced to improve their product to meet the consumers demands.
If a local track, expecially one that is an OHV park like Riverfront, isn't producing a product the consumer is happy with they should be able to post what they disliked. If enough people do so, and eventually stop going the place will get better, or the owner will go under and be replaced by someone else.
The whole, always be happy with what you got, attitude is a bunch of BS, that is as unamerican of a statment as you can make. If everyone had that attitude we would still have ice boxes to keep our food cold and would still be carving documents in stone like they did when Dresser was in school.
But whatever, I don't even post anymore track reviews, because this place is unfortunately like the U.S.S.R in that you may find you can't ride at a track anymore becuase you posted your honest review of their product.

Extremely well stated and written with Correct Grammar!!! What I dont get is most of this can be avoided if the owners just post what they are and are not doing? Like Sexton, Like Ralph? Like The PR GURU Rob? It diffuses everything, then we can make a consumer choice on their product(TRACK). I personally respect Yours., Mike A, and a few others reviews and it determines where we ride....
