Re: Riding and our Economy.
Ya delta weather has sucked compared to last year. I have only been out once this year because of it.
It hasnt effected me much. The big thing for me is I work 10 mins from my house so I save a ton of money on gas. I try to ride local but do make trips to estreet and hangtown but the gas kills me going to those places.

Re: Riding and our Economy.
Heck yeah!!!!! But it isn't just the gas. It seems like everything in society is going up really fast. Food is almost getting out of control. I swear I buy less and less at the store every week but somehow my bill still grows or stays the same. A lot of it has to do with people getting payed inflated wages for many jobs out there today. All it does in the long run is drive up prices and cause inflation, but that is an economic lesson for another day and an flaw with capitalism that isn't likely to ever change.

So you're saying teachers should get paid more than loan brokers? That's ludicrous!

I know but the gas is what gets me the most.. going up that freaking altamont pass kills my truck! going on the free way its kind of funny too.. you see aall the big V-8s going like 60 or 55 haha and you see all the little hondas and prius smashing like 90.
What frustrates me the most is that our sport is ridiculously expensive to begin with, parts are super expensive and way over prized and now this gas stuff and living far from tracks im sure would KILL some people. And there isnt much we could do...

The price of gas, food, utilities all going up big time have taken all of my play money. I have only ridden once since Hangtown. It is getting hard to take.
