Sold Jerolds Bike finally...Had to go low....So who has the deals currently? 08 HONDA CRF 250 or Maybe 08 YZ 250 two stroke....Any tips would be appreciated....Thanks Sean

Go up to OTD in auburn they have the best prices and if you go to the website they will send you quote on any bike and send it directly to your e mail they have all makes and models i have bought 2 bikes from otd. they are also in the bay area. good luck

I did already..6299 otd for the Honda....I will check with a few others also to see where they are at....The YZ though they dont even have? I guess thats a hard one to find...Thanks for the help..

I say get him/you a 2 seater Scooter (Honda Silver wing) then mount a hitch carrier to the back for the new braap and there ya go, your weight on the front wheel and the new CRF 250R (aaand twins!) This would solve any fuel issues, that Silver Wings gotta get at least 40mpg. That would be sweet... Have the Wing and the CRF w/ matching graphics from MOTOPRO and your in.... Straight factory baby....

i heard a couple months back that the YZ250 is pretty much impossible to find and if you do they are WAY expensive..

id stay with the 4stroke personally.. and yamaha... by the way..

If you are thinking of going 250 two-stroke, I would suggest just getting a crf450. It would be easier to ride and if I remember right your kid is pretty big anyways. You can keep a 450 for three years and the thing will still run and feel like new when you finally sell it. Those two-strokes get pretty clapped out feeling a lot faster and a 250f won't last, as I am sure you are aware. Find someone with a 450 and have your kid take a lap on it to see if he likes it. He can even take a lap on my race steed if he likes.

If you plan to keep the bike awhile look for back models like an 07 or wait for the 09s to come out and pick up a 08. The price will drop a lot.
