From their site: EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY (posted July 1, 2008): No Motocross
for the summer. We are having severe water problems. It
has been a dry winter. Look for the MX tracks to re-open in
August or September.

We will only run the Short Track (Dirt Oval/TT) on Friday
Nights for now (we have just enough water for that!).
Except for Joly 18 when we will all be at Laguna Seca for
the Moto GP.


Dirt Oval: (Short track and TT)
Controlled practice under the lights on the short track and
TT, 5-10 pm, every Friday, year-round, weather-permitting.
We run three goups: PeeWees, Adult Mini's (125's-150's),
and Big Bikes (over 250 cc requires Class C traction tires),
for approx 10 minute sessions all evening long. Come check
it out. If you don't have Class C tires, come check it out
anyway, if you decide it's wonderful,THEN buy the tires!
***THE DIRT OVAL IS ONLY OPEN ON FRIDAY NIGHTS!!!****

Gates open one hour before the tracks. If you are early,
please wait by the gate and do not enter the property until
you have signed in. (Insurance issues)

I got her email this morning when I turned on my computer at 6am.

Dear Riders,

I am sending the e-news early this week because EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY (today, 7/1/08) the Motocross tracks will be closed for the summer. Our well is down to a trickle and the winter has been dry. We have someone working on the well, and we are exploring other methods to find water but it will be a while to build back the water levels to keep the MX track moist enough for your safety and enjoyment during the warm months.

However, WE WILL STILL RUN the Friday Night Dirt Oval (Short Track/TT) during this time. There is enough water for that. Although, don\'t forget we won\'t run on Friday July 18 (we are at Moto GP at Laguna Seca). And yes for this Friday, the 4th of July.

Yes, too, for the MSF Dirt Bike School. No classes canceled.

The Bicycle Area is still closed.

I am personally devastated that we have to close the MX tracks. I understand the downside of Red Sticker Season. I really enjoy communicating with the riders and hearing your comments and suggestions to improve the track. I will still send e-news updates to keep you all informed on our water seeking progress. And, if you really need some throttle therapy, maybe try out our short track on Friday nights. (Cross train!)

Thank god! that place is a sh$% whole! those retards should do us all a favor and close it down for good or find new management. Its such a shame a place that could be so good, sucks so much!!!Phil or tom anderson have no concept on how to run a business! There just lazy crack heads who need to get there fix. Give the right person the keys to a tractor and a tiller and that place would make a fortune. Im glad there doing so bad, maybe they'll wake up and give the riders what they really want.

They are probably selling the water they do have to L.A.
