bummed out sice i can't ride

just sitting here bummed out since i cant ride. broke and dislocated my shoulder at riverfront last week. have a metal plate so the doc says about 3 months no ridin. im hoping less. feel free to give me a shout out if you want. sorry about the one-arm sh!@ty typing

I wish I was only three months from riding! I am about three months from walking.
Sunday it will be 14 weeks since I got hurt! My physical therapist says that I can get out of the pool and start on the equipment room in another two to three weeks.

I don't know if you're gonna' get any sympathy here (but you're young, so you'll heal quickly) sorry for your pain though....I have surgery the 25th of this month, and will be able to ride almost a year to the date of the injury on New Years Day 2009.

I was riding at club wednesday behind scotty and he threw a really big rock tht hit mypinky.. it hurts really bad. haha true story though lol I really hoe you get better soon but the longest youre sitting out, the more you will want ride badly!!

Sorry to here that, on 4-26-08 i cased the finish triple at Oatfield and the impact blew my arm out the back of my shoulder, broke in 4 places on the way out and tore all of the ligiments and tendons also, it will be a total of about 1 year from injury before i can ride again i have had 1 surgery and possibly 2 more, we will see as i am now in therapy to loosen the shoulder up to check movement and sability...... GOOD LUCK Andrew and i hope you get out on track soon........

yeah it could have been a lot worse and it sounds like some of you guys are worse off then iam. i keep wondering if the injury would have been different had i been wearing my chest protector. from now on ill be wearing every protective piece of gear i can think of including the new leatt im buying this weekend. take care everyone and thanks for the support

Yep, wear it all bro, I fractured my wrist in Hollister during Saturday's practice over Memorial Day weekend and Stevie wan't wearing his CTI wrist braces, who know like ya said but Hind Site.....
We'll keep you loving the sport with our ride updates, Sean357 mentioned you got hurt but the good thing is the tracks, your bike will all still be their when your healed.
Drink lots of milk, take your vitamins and heal up so we can all meet and Braaap together...
