Johnny Griego...prayers for him

A dear friend of NorCal Motocross/and mine, is in the Hospital, and needs our prayers. Johnny Griego of the OTHG, had a severe crash at SCMX on Thursday night. He was ALWAYS the guy with a smile and some advice. He helped me through difficult times just by being a friend...please consider him one of yours/ours now, and extend your thoughts and prayers to him and his Family. It is a back injury, but there is no update after surgery as of today. From what little information there is at this time, it appears he fractured the T10 and T11.

I'm sorry to hear this. I met John when he was getting ready for a race at Fernley, and he seemed like a great guy and a dedicated rider. Here's hoping he makes a full recovery.

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to give you an update as of Sunday morning. Johnny came out of his surgery well yesterday, he is awake and alert. He will need to go in for another surgery later this week. His family has requested that everyone hold off on visiting for right now. We will let everyone know when Johnny is ready for visitors. The family and his fiance Selena, did want everyone to know, "let everyone know that he does know his
Moto friends have him in their thoughts and prayers and that helps lift his may my spirts a great deal!"

Keep up the prayers and positive thoughts and we will post
more when we know it.
