Valves adjustment.

Hey guys, i have a yz450 its an 06 and at the last argyll round it was extremely difficult to start. The power is still hard to tell if its losing some but i think it might be. I called Al Posey and e told me to check the valves first and then go from there. My bike has like i think 80 hrs on it so it is time for a new top end im thinking. Well i was wondering if anyone knows the valve specs for my bike or where could i get them besides the owner manual??
Well thank guys for any help in advance!

Re: Valves adjustment.

80 hours?? Claudio I think you stretched your maintenance limit to the Max....I have the valves checked every 20 hours period....New Top end 30 hours on a 250 (unless racing) and 50 hours on the 450....My humble suggestion is let a pro adjust your valves and do your top end.....Heck JN , MX Shock, Posey, Jody,Ron from T&R are all in your area.... Just my two cents worth....If Alan is still in town he also is a choice.....

On a 450 you cant feel the HP loss as easily, but your bike now starts easier and gets on it a lot better huh? 102 hours is a long time, frequent oil and air filter changes certainly help.... Thanks for ordering all this stuff, I will be back Saturday, See ya race Saturday night?
