Reed NOT racing Steel City

He got scared...

Reed Not Racing Steel City
By Steve Matthes

Despite the earlier report that Chad Reed was in for this weekend's Steel City National, unfortunately we just got confirmation that Suzuki decided to pull the plug and save his team debut for a later date.

Probably a prudent Move...Why would he tease the fans with riding one Outdoor Race, probably taking an easy 2nd place...When he is a FAGGGGGY SX Rider only now....At least we know it and it is what it is!!

Re: Reed NOT racing Steel City

whats he gonna do in SX when Bubba is racing? Retire say hes homesick ?
I get sick og hearing people say that on the main mx sites about Reed being away from home since 18 and what not.. Big deal I was in another country too when I was 18 yrs old for 4 years straight and went home 2 times for 5 days each..Woopy doo the guy has millions but people feel sorry for him cause he left home to carry out his dream of racing in America.
I cant wait to hear the excuses when bubba spanks him by 30 sec in sx and Villopoto actaully keeping reed honest lol

Re: Reed NOT racing Steel City

Who really knows the real reason why he is not racing Steel City? It might be Suzuki or something else. Let him do what he wants to as long as he doesn't harm anyone or anything.......................................... ..............

Re: Reed NOT racing Steel City

Tell me why the hell would a guy that is one of the best motocross riders in the world would get scared like you guys are saying here to race against other guys below his level except for like two or three that could give him a good battle? When you guys go race on the weekend your gonna tell me you get scared of racing against faster riders? cause i sure dont. If he is not racing Steel city is probably for some pretty good reasons that no one here comes even close to knowing. If the guy is a jerk then that is his problem.. i don't understand why all of you bash on him so bad.
His riding is like crazy good, ad that is all that should matter.

Re: Reed NOT racing Steel City

I bash on him because he IS a little sissy. We all know that he can go fast outdoors. It's the fact that he doesnt show up that is gay. I lost all my respect for Chad Reed when he signed a supercross only contract. He has 2 supercross titles(that he got handed to him) and one East coast title. He got his ass handed to him outdoors for years and got sick of it.

Re: Reed NOT racing Steel City

Couldn't have anything to do with not being 100% ready? Why risk getting hurt for one race that doesn't mean anything that could potentialy ruin his indoor ride next year?

Man, some of you guys are idiots with no respect to the third best AMA rider of the last 5 years. Guy rides hurt all the time, tries his hardest every time he is on the track and had no desire to race outdoors this year. So what, it is his life and his job. Maybe being healthy for his sx series and the MXDN is more important since they are two races that actually mean something to him.
