I can remember it like it was yesterday, taking my son to school when he was 9....Being mad as hell and sick to my stomach!! I was just watching the first 20 minutes from the time the first plane hit and it sends that feeling back down my back....I truly hope that we never forget and get complacent...It will happen again and many of our sons and daughters will be fighting this again....There are quite a few guys and ladies from this site that are in the Military or have Joined....My family and myself truly appreciate your sacrifice and what you do and how dangerous it is.....
NEVER EVER FORGET

God bless all that have died on 911. Thank God that we have freedom. I know that some people think that we are not doing the right thing by being in Iraq. What whould it be like if we were not there? Our troops fight for our freedom and we should thank them for it.
All I can say is "Thanks" to all my family, friends and others who serve to keep our country safe. I don't think anyone, anywhere will ever forget that day.
We have our problems here in America, no doubt, but I'd rather be here than anywhere else in the world.
My GF at the time was a Flight Attendant with AA, and had JUST left for Chicago that morning on a flight....we lost 3 friends, one Captain and 2 Flight Attendants into the Trade Center. We attended numerous Memorials that week, and to this day, her and I STILL remember the others that also lost loved ones.
I asked Emily if they do anything in School for this day, and she "thinks" they have a moment of silence, and study in History about that fateful day.
