Ideas help!! fundraising!

So Chico State Dirt riders is offical! I am trying to come up with ideas.

I have looked at Estreet Mx and at there track rental prices. And i dont really see how we could make money doing that, unless Mr. Davis was willing to work with us (and yes I sent him an email). But running two tracks is tough, and i dont want to make anyones job any tougher!

We were thinking of putting on a ride at the local OHV area. It is a pretty small place, but we can make it fun for like a cross country type of thing. (put in logs, rock piles, etc etc) What i want to know is if anyone on here knows what I need to do to hold a ride on OHV land?

And also does anyone have any ideas on what else we can do? So far i have thought of sponsors, and local shop help maybe. HELP!

Thank you!

Try CCS or Chico Motorsports. Also, Oroville Cycle across from the Food Max shopping center. I work there and my boss is big with the Pro quad riders in the area, but if you were able to set up some type of advertising deal he might go for it.

Talk to Lowell @ CycleLand or Burt Endicott @ Finger lake MX or maybe the folks out at Thunder Hill, Useing public land is a major pain in the ass and will require a HUGE bond. Best bet for a local fund raiser is a poker run or fun ride, Way more riders out there than racers.

What do you think is the best way to get ahold of Lowell?

How about a bike wash at riverfront after practice on saturdays with some hot co-ed's? I'm sure you would have a line of bikes to wash!
