He is right, you might as well do it that way you know where you are as far as the condition of your motor. Since you have just started riding you dont want a good thing to go bad if the motor fails.

just take it to posey racing trust me its due owners manuel say every 15 hoours i know no one does that but if yours has anythng over 100 its defiantly time

I believe that one of the Motorcross magazines recomended to replace the top end,{piston, rings, valves, valve springs, and any other parts accociated with those parts that are out of spec} every 30 hrs on a 250f an 40hrs on a 450f. The manuals state every 15hrs, which is kind of soon. Also I would buy a hour meter for $30, then you will have no question on when to change oil or parts.

thats not a fact yet [:I] ill practice starts with jake when he gets another chance to come out to PC, also scott i rode your 851, makes me wanna get 2 smoke, never been on one before, it felt so much lighter than my 01 250f and i felt more in control, why did you gave it up?

Scott didn't give it up, he sold it to me (It was his bike from last year). Scott is now on Yamaha & rides for Roseville Yamaha (so he can't ride Kawasakis anymore)
