Many of you may know Jason Becker, he is a regular at many of the motocross events around our area, he is fast up and coming intermediate racer.

For his Senior Project at Del Oro high school he has organized a one off cross country race at Boreal Ski Resort. Here is a chance to ride a cool one of a kind course with some awesome views.

In an email I just got from the event organizer

Sunday, October 25th we will be having a cross country event with a one hour moto format…we will be using parts of Boreal, including the Sunset ski run and much of cross country Nordic trails…some really cool terrain that has not been ridden before. All proceeds will go the Auburn Ski Club Alpine ski and snowboard teams.

OTHG Class if 25 members show up.
Free Camping
No Gate Fees
4.5 Mile Course
Spark Arrestor Required

I just got some more information. For 10 bucks you can do a 30 minute moto/practice session. The first race out on the course is OPEN to all bikes 125cc and up. Any skill level. 10 bucks 30 minutes. Kinda like a pre run. There is even a trophy for the person who completes the most laps in the session.

This sounds like a great event. I would be there but I busted myself up pretty good at Glen Helen and need some recovery time. Good luck to all and be safe!

hey thankyou very much joey for letting everyone know about this event. I just wanted to add that we have set up an account with XTRM.com wich allows all riders to pre-enter for the race online. Its not mandatory you may enter at the event also.

So come on out and support a great cause. Remember all the profit goes to the auburn ski club.

There is not a lot of snow. It was a warm storm. All it will do is keep the dust down. It is supposed to be in the mid to high 60s this weekend. Perfect weather.

I think there is about 2 inches of snow on the ground from today.
