Ron,
Your secret is safe with us - yeah right! My wife checks out this site more than anyone I know, just never logs in...
Pros will always practice and race free and you, the Kelly family, is part of the CMP family, so the pros' brother that is fast can ride free too.
I will figure out a good, fair number for a family season pass, I am there too with kids, dogs, ski racing and other, so I get it...only my wife BOUGHT our toy hauler so she could go play, too.

If we were open to the public and pumped the miscellaneous puddles off the track today, we could be open and ridable tomorrow (see Kirk at Club's various posts...even with engineering of a cool drainage system, unless you cover 13 acres of dirt, it is going to get wet). I have buried my suburban up over the hood on our road, so yes, dirt and water over an extended period of time makes things ugly.
Pull up a chair and grab something to drink:
If you can SEE my track (and hopefully you were just generalizing about the area), you are riding or driving where you don't belong. I own from Athens Road to the Power Poles (1 mile in length) and everything else contains "wetlands" and "waterways of the USA", places you should not be and DO NOT want to get caught in by the FEDS...Placer Ranch is between the power poles and the houses (where "everybody rides") and everything else is in contract or for sale with documents that show where the environmental issues are - if you are trying to HELP get CMP approved and other tracks in California or any other area to EVER open in the future, YOU and others like you need to stay off of private property. I am not on a soapbox, just stating the facts. Dirt bikes and lifted wanna be wheelers do not help the cause...if YOU DO NOT OWN THE DIRT YOU ARE RIDING ON, STAY OFF. Riding on Railroad right of ways, construction sites, vacant fields, golf courses and other attractive areas that beckon a Dunlop make everyone with a dirtbike in their truck look like a trouble maker to those that don't ride (Barbara Boxer to name just one). There have been more than 100 times since July that I have met trespassers on my track - not people that came in the front gate, but across hundreds of acres of open space on a dirt bike, quad or go kart, past more than 50 "No Trespassing" or "Private Property" signs (or the remains of them underneath tire tracks)...if we, the 2 wheeled community, are not careful, we will lose the right to ride completely.
Yes...our dirt gets wet and at times during the 23 days of winter weather Placer County usually gets, it can suck up a truck if you are not careful.
Tread Lightly, Leave No Trace and if you can't stop, smile as you go under my 4x4...

I dont ride out there its all flat and I dont want to get put on some sort of you cant ride here ever again list lol. The only time I go out there is when I get a phone call saying come pull me out. I dont wheel much anymore since I upgraded from a 82 chevy to a 04 dodge ram. I respect no trespassing signs and dont cross them anyways im not crazy enough to drive that far out once you get so far your past the point of return or being pulled out by another truck.

Re: California Motocross Park Information
Hey Todd,
Am I going to get my brewpub open before you open your track? !!!!!!
It's okay, I can't find the time to ride now anyway!!
I think brewers should rate up there with the pro's Besides, the pros wont bring you beer!
Keep fighting,
Cheers!

I know what you mean about not riding...I think my bike is orange, I have a picture of it somewhere...I'm sure it is in the garage, still...and I HAVE A TRACK!
You deserve the win on the first to open the new digs, but my team still bested your team at Honeylake!
I met your chef...
