Gangs are bad, stay in school...you are an individual, no need to stoop to a low level and try to fit in....oh, you probably mean OTHG...

With multiple tracks, I am sure someone can arrange a Gang only event or two...

Re: California Motocross Park Information

Are you gonna have "dodge the rolling trash" events on days the wind is coming out of the west?

Here's a suggestion for an alibi to tell the wives. Just take a load of trash to the landfill, but just bury your bike at the bottom of the load. If you are resourceful you can bury it with a couple of handfulls of leaves and by the time you get there they will have blown away... No need to bother with the dumps.

Absolutely...to date, though, I have only seen 3 plastic bags floating in the air from the West on a windy day that have made it onto the test track...go figure.

We will be a recycling point for used motor oil and dead batteries and we will have mulitple "recycling day" events where you bring aluminum, old tires or whatever is on the list that day and get in a discounted rate...Placer County and the Waste Management Authority are both really excited about some of the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" things we can do...maybe we can build jumps on top of used appliances or couches...

Re: California Motocross Park Information

Hey 995, just wanted to let you know my 2 boys have ridden your track and I have to say it is excellent. We were there at a birthday party and we got lots of ride time. My boys cant wait to ride their again. Dont listen to all those guys complaining about location. Its perfect. Unless you want to move it closer to Foresthill.

Re: California Motocross Park Information

I think this is great to have the CMP facilities in the Sacramento area and I can't wait intill opening day. For many years I'v seen families move to L.A to get closer to some of the best tracks in California, I myself have considered this alternative, But thanks to guys like Scott Davis and Todd I can stay in the area and experience the new revolution of Nortern CaL. motocross. I live 5 minuts from CMP, 30 minuts from E-Street, River Front and Prairie City's Hangtown National track, I,m right in the middle of Northern Cal's. best facilities. I believe I'll be staying here and occasionally visit southern California tracks for their series events.

Thank you,.....................Scott and Todd
P.S
Todd I could use some extra cash....(I can run most all equipment and have built a few tracks) if you can use someone? call (916)677-6286 Bob

Re: California Motocross Park Information

I will know today what the timing is with Placer County. I meet to review comments and whatnot on the Environmental Impact Report - with luck, it will be ready to release for public comment, then approval by Placer County...last step to get the grading permit...

Message For the dirt bag that obviously rides in the area near my track, thank you for taking to Porta John from the site and blowing holes in it with your big gun. Very cool way to welcome me to the area and show who is the big dog in town. You are blowing it for ALL in the Roseville Area who already poach rides on private property anywhere close to me. The Placer County Sheriff's helicopter pilots ALL ride and as such are now VERY annoyed and looking for anyone riding within the 1,000 acres near my site. See you in jail.

That's why those places we used to ride at are all gone now. Respect Todd, Scott, Kirk and those who jump thru all the hoops so everyone that comes can "Just Ride". They're the ones going thru the nonsense that we never hear about. Sorry Todd, first time im on your sticky and your plans even down to the "recycling" days give us all a chance to show those enviros that we are just as responsible as they are and not be the irresponsible types they make us out to be. And the Pro program-very good stuff for those that have paid their dues for sooo long. Everyone needs to be thankful to the above people who want the sport to grow. Kudos. Nice that Placer Co. heli pilots are all over it too. Good to have "the backup". Best wishes always.
