Great another person that got to ride there! I wish everyone would quit telling us that they rode there! When does the general public get to ride the test track or any track there for that matter? Oh yea, 2008 if we are lucky.

Dube please, have a positive outlook. having patience for a facility like this is hard I know. There are definately a lot of steps, permits, meetings to be had by the heads of this project.(for future outlook=lots of steps and rules to be taken) They are definately looking out for the moto community. My thought is it is going to be the disneyland of motocross. I wouldn't be suprised if there was to be a ride day for everyone anticipating the future of this complex. Think positive. I know it's hard for me some times but for this to happen will be fun for everyone in the northern Ca. region. this is something that nor-cal has been needing for quite some time. Finally thank-you to those that are in charge.....

I am with you, and understand that there is a lot of planning and preparation that has to take place before this place opens. I would like to think that I am a positive person. I am just jealous that lots of people are riding there and spodes like myself have not had the opportunity to ride there. :-/ It seems like I hear of someone new riding there every week. I will try to be more patient. :-/

Re: California Motocross Park Information

Nothing new to report; still in the Placer County Planning approval process dealing with "one last thing" from the staff level for the Environmental Impact Report, which is the key to the development.

If it was not a site in the County that our facility will work at by law, I would have hit eject and changed Counties or States long ago. The system is like the movie Ground Hog's Day, every time I go to sleep knowing that today was tough, but that tomorrow will be a new day, but then awaken in the morning reliving the same day I had just left behind...I think we are now skilled at avoiding the puddles and pitfalls, so the "day" seems to be going smoother and we are having a better time of maneuvering around, but are still waiting to see if the mornings start out different.

Our goal (and one the County is now echoing) is late summer or early fall to see a fresh day begin...if you look too closely, every day is the same, so we look long term and try not to worry about what day it actually happens because the County has accepted we are going to build and are now helping with the process.

The County staff and Supervisors have been receiving very well worded letters of support from riding families which has been helpful in reminding everyone that there is support not only in Placer County, but all over the world (some very cool FIM racers have written in!).

Thanks for your interest, elbows up and look forward past your fender.

Re: California Motocross Park Information

I wonder if the proposed expansion of Thunder valley casino 600+ room hotel and 3000 seat theater and other amendities will have any groundhog days! I doubt it as Placer County officals stated in the Bee today about what a great asset this will be to the area soooo, a gambling establishment will help everyone it seems and most likely will be mainlined for approval,i am thinking that Thunder valley would still welcome CMP as I can not see them not welcoming revenue from CMP being so close
