Re: California Motocross Park Information

Still chugging...we feel like the little engine, "I think I can, I think I can..." The County is very supportive since our project has been "deemed complete" for nearly 2 years, but we are still working through the system...the system is slow (methodical?) and no amount of money or words will speed it up (we tried).

When, as in a date, is unknown. Probably in '08 we will break ground officially and open to the public on a limited scale.

Our hold up currently is a sewer connection...we are the first property to develop out there and as such we need to bring the sewer connection to us and size it for everyone else that may (ever) hook up to it...Thunder Valley Casino is now working with us and a couple other property owners out there to go up the street to Lincoln...our cost just for that is $4 million...to go to Roseville it is $10 million +...although our use (motorsports racing and practice facility, public assembly and stadium) is allowed on our site, the use of porta-johns is not...must have flush toilets, so even if we were built, we could not open...good news - we will have flush toilets and showers! Bad news, we are working with 2 cities, the County and multiple County and State agencies to get it done...Good news, though is Psomas Engineering (our Civil Engineer) is all over it, are respected by all the agencies and have it all lined out for an early '08 connection...

I do not have much more to update...if it was not something I could build on this site, I would have bailed a couple of years back, but since it is buildable as designed on this site, I will continue to look past the front fender and into the next corner. Elbows up.

Ride safe.

You can see the waste water treatment plant from your property. It services Lincoln and I know the plant manager and he rides.
