It's interesting that so many people dislike the quads out on the track. Back when I rode a quad I went to Riverfront pretty frequently. I never had any issues with guys on bikes, and when I rode my RM250 there, had very few issues with guys on quads.
The track that I ride the most often today is Porterville, and quads are allowed on it too. Very few issues, not really any that are any different than between the really fast riders and the really slow ones.
Since switching to bikes I have come to understand how a large number of quads can be considered detrimental to the ruts and jump lips, but in limited numbers I don't see the major malfunction.
That said, I wholeheartedly agree with the logic that says quad riders are often less experienced, and can pull bonehead moves. Not that guys on bikes can't do stupid things, but the super easy to ride quads do encourage idiots to take up our beloved sport.
Frankly, with the sheer number of quads being sold, I'm surprised there's not a track made just for quads. There's money to be made there, and they're NOT going away.
