Dear Riders,
We would like everyone to know that we will honor all Club Moto memberships at SJMX. This goes for all VIP cards as well. As part of our thanks for all the support the riders have given us over the last several years we will be extending the Vip-Cards until March 1, 2007.
Just like weather Club Moto closing was out of our control and we are sad that the track is now closed. We are now focused on keeping the last Bay Area Race track open, which can only been done with the riders support.
For those who have helped out over the last several years I would like to say thanks. It takes a lot of time and effort to run a practice track. This goes out to everyone who helped with the website, tractor repairs, watering, flagging and anyone who just wanted to help to ensure they had a place to ride.
Because of the dangers of riding and racing. Being able to ride at any track is a Privilege not a right. Every day as track owners we are faced with rising insurance cost, repairs, law suits (Just caused or not) and now major issues with long winters, which have impacted tracks financially. I don't think any promoter or track owner gets up each day and says: Today I am going to give the riders a bad track, especially those who have raced and riden dirt bikes for as long as we have. This will be my only post regarding Club Moto. Once again, Thank You to everyone who supports our Sport...
