Question Oil level for 2006 YZ250F

Can anyone give me any information regarding oil level and or amount for my new 2006 YZ250f. The manual states to put 1.25 L in when changing oil and filter, which I did. The oil window is completely covered and is over about 10mm from top of window. I ran bike after oil change and followed instructions in manual. It is kind of unclear in manual where the oil level should be on the window!

Thank you,
Dominic

P.S. 2006 Yamaha YZ 250F rips

Basic rule of thumb when there is a window is run the engine for a minute , let it sit for a couple of minutes so the oil drains down from the head, then the level should be 1\2 to 3\4 of the way up the window. Too much oil is also a bad thing!
You should probably check with your selling dealer too.

nickt916,
Where is the oil level on your window after you have ran your bike after an oil change? Is it above the window?

Thanks,
I have to lean my bike about the same to see oil level. I think that the recommended oil amount of 1.25 L with filter removed will be good. I will add less when filter is not removed. I am assuming that when the window is covered and engine is filled with recommended amounts in manual I should be fine.
