front sprocket

Gonna help my bud replace both sprockets on Wed. on his 05 RMZ 450.. Need advice on getting the front sprocket off.

While the chain is still on, remove whatever bolts/nut/clip holds the sprocket on. Then remove the chain. The slide the front sprocket off. Re-install in reverse order. I use a little locktite if the bike doesn't have some kind of safety device (like the Yamaha washer that bends up to keep the nut from backing off).
