Here's a shot of a section of the track. The prep looked real good and so was the 1st rounds of practice. They let the big bike go at 9AM for over 1/2 hour. The track was holding up and was fun. The start no longer make the tight right turn. Now it goes over the track and directly into the infield table, very nice.

A few shots of the corner at top...ahhhh, flat turns.

Over all the track held up real well and they put down some water around noon. The turnout was about average for Carniege. They did break up practice after 10:30 with Red/Yellow, then Blue/Green. Since I ride a Honda, no pics of red bikes.

I did meet 925WudItDo, nice guy, he was railing the track pretty good.

Gates open at 6A, Practice at 8A, then racing around 9:30A. The Folks at E Street MX did a good job with the track and kept it going.

Mike: Do the OTHG guys have to buy an E St card to race the OTHG class? E St's website says that a one day $5 E. St card, or the $35 yearly card must be bought to race.

Mike, OTHG guys do not need to buy the card for the OTHG classes, per Scott. If your gonna race another class, you do....

OK... thanks! Any idea how many laps the 38 + expert class will get? I'm on the fence whether I wanna race there. The track, even when prepped good, it pretty boring and short. Thus, if we only get like 5 laps, that means that I'll spend $45 and spend most the day to have about 15 minutes of race time, and with morning practice, about 20 or so minutes total seat time. Kinda a jip in my opinion. That's why I like the OTHG nationals... at least I feel like I got to ride a bit.

Anyway, if you know how many laps for tomorrow, please let me know. Thx!

The $5 is not needed for OTHG Members racing in Gang moto's. However, if you race the E Street MX series the $5, or Membership card is required.

Not sure. It probably depends how many show up for the race. Last week at hollister, Scott gave everyone extra laps...
