Lies and rumors about Riverfront.

#1. Charlie took the tunnel jump. I went by on Feb 14. The tunnel is still there.
#2. Charlie is hauling dirt out of there. The track is unchanged from the last sunday that they were opened.
#3. Why is Charlie draging is feet moving his junk out of there. Charlie has moved his stuff out.
As far as why hasent Scott re-opened.
#1 He needs to get permits, insurance, employes and the equiptment to operate 2 tracks at the same time.
#2. Parts of the track are under water. The river has not flooded the area but there are several ponds that need to dry ore be pumped before any track prep is to be done.
#3. I was at the city council meeting in support for Charlie when Scott was given control of Riverfront. I was not the onle one on this forum present. If you all remember one of the council members before the vote was taken made a motion to create a exploritory comitie to prevent Riverfront from having a OHV park under any managment due to complaints from West Marysville residents. I am sure that Scott wants to open A.S.A.P. but he could be slowed by this comite. Even if this is not slowing him down now this is a threat to Riverfront no matter who is the operator. The city council could shut this down now or at a latter date if they choose too.

Why do you open yourself up like that(no pun intended) Brett. I doubt anyone was even thinking anything until you pointed it out. Do you like a woman that gets straight to the point at least.

I have pondered this thought for a while...How come Charlie did not bid more on the initial bid? Charlie has an incredible following and based on rough guesstimates, Riverfront has generated a solid 6 figure revenue. What am I missing here?

yz450dan...what are your thoughts on this?

Dont know ZPEACH. He said he thought he put in a fair bid but Scott out bid him. If and when Charlie and Mike start over somewhere else I will give there new track a try but untill then I will be waiting outside the gate at Riverfront an hour before it re-opens. I may not be the first to cross the finish line but I am always pull the hole shot from the front gate

Money talks, BS walks. Plans and visions of a better facility talk, junk equipment and toilets that barely work need to walk. Scott probably had a better bid and game plan to improve Riverfront that the council believed he would be the better operator. Whatever the case, lets be adults about it - the mayor and council have spoken. The bids, plans, etc are Scotts/Charlies business. Like I said before, Scott has NO intention of changing the track and all the other rumors that keep floating around. At least we still have Riverfront to ride at when Scott gets the ok to open for business.
