Western 4 Stroke Nationals coming to E Street?

I just got some info from the Pres of the Western 4 Stroke Nationals. E Street is listed as Round 3.

Who from Norcal would show up to the race at E Street.

I know I am in.

Greetings and Welcome:
2007 Western 4-Stroke National Motocross Series (W4SN):

For all those participants that have traveled to events throughout the past ten years, and have shared your great times, we are here for you. It’s all about the camaraderie and racing at it’s finest. This has been the best part of organizing and promoting these events for us all. We have helped each other, and have surpassed each and every years return record numbers of riders and spectators alike. With that has come a larger amount of incentives to keep spreading the good word, “Come Feel The Thump” for yourself. The original series that started the growth of 4-Stroke Motocross in 1996.

So, if you have never been out to see an awesome Western 4-Stroke National Motocross race, or for that matter "HEAR" a thunderous Western 4-Stroke National Motocross event take place, "Just do it". There have been events in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, California, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Nevada and Washington.

The series began in 1996, following the closure of the 500 Motocross Nationals. There is no comparable arena for riders to get this level of competition in the ProAm ranks. To say the series has been a success is an understatement. We’re still breaking records my friends!

Since more 4-Stroke Motocross events are being born, agreements between committed riders, sponsors and manufactures, the series has been scaled down, making it more economical for all, providing two prestigious Classifications, the 250F Pro and Premier Pro Championship. The word is out and has flooded through the region in which we have had events in the past. To believe, that we still averaging 60 Professional riders respectively per race, three to five qualifiers per round, gives W4SN and all the track promoters a sense of a job well done.

Promoters agreed posting and providing a minimum $7,000 Purse for the Premier Pro class, per event. With pay back down to 20th place per moto and each promoter contributing $1000 towards the “Riders Points Fund” in this classification ONLY. This is designed for the Premier Pro riders, finish in 20th or better in the “Riders Points Fund System”.

Riders Points Fund system is different from the Daily Points system. We are going to give points to all 40 riders who make the main motos. Daily Points have been the same in the past - Per moto - 25 points earned for 1st, 22 for 2nd, 20 points for 3rd, 4th = 18, 5th = 16 then 1 point decreasing increments down, example 6th place = 15 points down to 1 point for 20th. “Riders Points Fund System”, to award 1st place in a moto with 45 points, 2nd=42 points, 3rd=40 points, 4th=38, 5th=36 points then 1 point decreasing increments down, example 6th place = 35 down to 1 point for 40th.

Well, folks, the ground pounding mayhem is about to start up again! Just a couple weeks before March 10th and 11th for Round #1 in Phoenix, Arizona at the Speedworld MX Park. All of the training and preparation in regards to the riders will soon come to bear.

It’s all about the incredible, head turning, heart racing, soul satisfying and gut level thump that makes it all worthwhile…. “The 4-Stroke beasts are on the line” – revving up and….up! Building to that awesome roar to, “When the gates drops, it’s all business.”

$2,000 Purse, 250F Pro Class on Saturdays, paying top 10 per moto.
1. $200, 2. $175, 3. $150, 4. $125, 5. $100, 6. $50, 7. $50, 8. $50, 9. $50, 10. $50

$7,000 Premier Pro Purse per round on Sundays (top 20 per moto).
1. $600, 2. $400, 3. $375, 4. $325, 5. $275, 6. $250, 7. $225, 8. $150, 9. $125, 10. $125, 11. $100, 12. $100, 13. $75, 14. $75, 15th-20th. $50 each.

Riders Points Fund (Premier Pro only) - Paying at the final round to the top 20 riders in the “Riders Points Fund System” - who participate in 80% of events.

Thanks for the POST...

Please keep in mind, as of today, the promoter Scott Davis and I have spoken and this is a tentative scheduled event for Round #3 to take place in May or June...Give the E-Street crew your support now and help the series grow into Nor Cal once again.

Thump On!

Four stroke nationals? I think they need to change the name, better yet change the bikes someone should start the two stroke nationals, I would show up for the smell alone not to mention the sound.

Re: Western 4 Stroke Nationals coming to E Street?

Don't thank me for introducing the idea to Scott and Don or anything... J/K... But really I have been stressing this idea to both of them since last fall, Scott didn't seem real interested in taking the time to call Don, and Don doesn't have the time to be chasing track promotors down all the time. I guess at least they finally got in contact though and we'll see what happends. I would like it to be in May too. But on the other hand I hope it is in June cuz I am booked every weekend in May for one race or another.
