Re: OTD Cycles and Club Moto

OTD Cycles does offer some incredible deals, but just about every dealer in town can match or beat there prices. Just call around and let them know you are shopping OTD Cycles. No local dealers want to lose business to these guys. There is no reason to drive all the way to up to Auburn when you can get the same deal in town and support your local dealers. If you pick up a new cycle trader you will see that all dealers offer the same deals. PCP Motorsports in Sac is selling those same 06 KX450’s for $5199.00 OTD in the new cycle trader. Everyone will match them, even there gift card thing, save the drive. Check it out for yourself.

Re: OTD Cycles and Club Moto

Auburn (APEX-OTD) is under the same owners i believe. I recently bought a new YFZ450 for an incredible price compared to the local dealer here. They still act as if they are they only ones selling this brand in america

Honda456. My problem with that logic (JMO) is that why would I get a great price from someone who is willing to offer it to me without me even walking into the dealership, smoozing with the dealership (which has been stated on other threads) and then let them MATCH the price?? Why can't my closest dealer just offer me that price daily and be competitive or better. Sorry but my loyalty will be 10 miles away for someone who doesn't jack the prices up so they can sell to the un-educated buyer who walks in for the first time. I will also buy all my parts from OTD and any service I might need as well because they didn't try and stick it to me from the begining. It's a pet peave of mine when a dealer states "we'll match any price" why not something like "we want your business and we know our prices are the lowest and want you as a customer for life so we will give you the best prices or damn close from the start. There's no need for you to go anywhere else" This sport is allready way to expensive. All I can say is thank god for a place like OTD. Thanks to them I buy new bikes alot more then I would without them.

Mapicella, Well stated all the way through. Thanks for sharing this info with everyone. You are the man!

like Kirk said, this dealership is not in Auburn. They have two locations that I know of in the Bay area. One in Brisbane, and one in Oakland. So, that does make them a LOCAL SHOP for those of us here in the Bay area.

They also have locations in LA and Orange Co.

Just wanted to keep this thread to the facts. Sorry.

Here's their website again, so you can check it our for yourself.

Out The Door Motorsports

And again, I have no affiliation or interest in OTD Cycles. Rather, I ran into them myself when looking to buy a new bike, and I was super impressed with their honest and upfront style of doing business. At that point, I thought I'd like to pass on my good furtune with my fellow NorCal mx'ers. Hence, why I worked out the $20 gift card deal. It's not much, but on top of a great bike price, to me, it's like icing on the cake.

Anyway, I hope it helps those that are in the market for a new bike. If not, and you prefer to go to some shop that you've used in the past, no sweat. This was offered to help those that may want a deal, not to try and pry some people away from whatever shop they are loyal too.

Re: OTD Cycles and Club Moto

Just to clarify, there is an OTD in Auburn. Use to be called Apex. Their standard deal = the deal you get on "factory rebated" bikes at other dealers. I like the up-front OTD pricing. Nothing ticks me off more than all the prep and handling fees the dealer tries to work in on you after you've already haggled for an hour on the sticker price. Oh well, everyone is trying to make a buck. If you're happy with what you got and how much you spent that's all that matters.

Really? It's now OTD? That place is about 10-15 minutes from my house. It was only "Apex" for a little while, before that it was Lamb's Cycles. They just moved into a really weird building that used to be a car dealership. The parts department is so far from the "showroom" that I got in my car and drove instead of walking
