Re: OTHG request
I thank all of you for wishing my dad a speedy recovery. He's home from the hospital and is starting to feel a little better. Unfortuately he will not be racing anymore, he decided that the risk is too great, he'll be lucky to be back to work in 3 months. If anyone cares the guy that landed on my dad was riding a yellow yamaha with an FMF pipe, he looked to be 45+ maybe younger and the goon should have a nice fat black eye from the crash.

Luke, Maybe its time to let this matter go. I know and understand that its your pops and all, but letting this unknown rider rent space in your head with negative thoughts only affects you. Im sure that this other guy is at home wondering how your dad is doing. Let it go brother.

Man, are you calling the dude out? Its racing, stuff happens, not to sound like an ass, but from the sound of it, your dad giving up racing is about the best thing that he could do.

Re: OTHG request
I dont want to drag this out and I agree with Tom that you RCR have to let this whole thing go pretty much. Your Dad has made his decision and thats that.
From what I can gather at the Estreet Race Results listings for the Round 6 races, there was only 2 Yamahas out there in the 45+ Beginner Class. Mine and One other. My bike is blue and I didnt get in any crashes. The other guy is a Bay Member and he was an Eval Rider because he didnt have a number. Now I am only assuming this information because you (RCR) said it was a Yellow 450F Yamaha bike.... Thats all I am basing this on. So if your info aint right neither is mine. (Name withheld)
While I agree also with Andymoto about the guy apologizing an all, you may want to stop and think that maybe this guy has no idea what the aftermath of his goon move is. Just a thought. I understand that where theres a will theres a way to find out information just like I did and this guy should be checking in on Pete Miller but he hasnt. Maybe a word to the BAY CHAPTER PRESIDENT / MR. ERIC WATT is in order. He afterall should be the one to deal with this situation, not all of us as a lynch mob.
just a thought....

Re: OTHG request
I think that everyone at one time or another ,including RCR have done something stupid or dangerous on the track.I know that I have, just so happens that your father got involved in this one and got hurt, the luck wasn't with him in this RACING accident.Did the guy do it on purpose?Doubt it.
To let this eat you up is not good, you need to look at it as what it was,a RACING accident and just accept it as it is,sorry your pops got hurt, wish it didn't happen, but dude you have to get on with it
Hard to say grow-up to a 15 year old but you and your pops know the DANGERS and RISKS and CHANCES of getting hurt are,but grow-up
Sorry about your pops again
Maybe take tis as a lesson and put it in your own brain cells for future use

If you had a brain cell in your head, you'd wonder how a 15 yr old at leasts apologizes for letting the injury to his DAD, HIS IDOL AND HERO get to him as much as it did, but where's the so-called adult to step up and say at minimum that he hopes RCR's dad has a FULL recovery? At least RCR has his dad's back, unlike the rider who didnt bother to see if he was ok. Yeah, its hard to say grow up to a 15 yr old, but at least him, not the adult did the growing up. Keep your brain cell comments to yourself and you have no business to telling RCR to grow up. More Kids that care about what happens to their parents is what partly wrong in this world. Lots dont. If you wouldve read all the threads, youre the zillionth person to practically scold him and his family for not accepting the 'DANGERS, "RISKS" and so on. Worry about your own activity under your helmet as we ALL should. And leave RCR alone and let them heal in peace.
