Othg Nationals

I understand that OTHG is having 5 NATIONALS this year and you have to attend every one if you want to compete for year end awards, plates, jackets etc, etc, etc. I dont know what all they give away really.... but lots of stuff. I think they're even raffling off a couple of bikes too!

From all the other threads Ive read about people not knowing the RULES until its too late.... Heres the deal: ATTEND EVERY EVENT! No small print, No misleading attorney language and No X-Bux cards allowed!....

The 1st event is April 14-15 by Sierra OTHG at THE OATFIELD!!!

Round 2 is May 26-27 by Reno OTHG at FERNLEY

Round 3 is June 23-24 by South OTHG at TULARE

Round 4 is Sept 1-2 by Bay OTHG at HOLLISTER

Round 5 is Oct 20-21 by South OTHG at GLEN HELEN

New members – Please keep in mind you must have completed your Eval Races, as well as completed two full races (4 motos) prior to competing at a Gang National.

It's all correct.

If you do not have the 4 moto's in, you can ask the hosting Clubs President and or Race Director to see if you can still race. It is rare this is allowed tho. If you race Expert or Pro, exceptions have been made in the past.

The rule was placed to prevent or at least reduce sandbagging. If you smoke your class Saturday, don't be surprized if your bumped Sunday!!!

We always look forward to our Nationals, it's a great atmosphere.

Don't forget there is always a huge raffle Saturday night. Bikes are sometimes given away as Hrlyman mentioned.

All the OTHG nationals are on the calendar. I posted them months ago.
Pros can join the club and race that day. They are exempt from evals and the two race rule.
Women can join at 25.

I was only pointing out that ALL 5 have to be attended if competing for final series awards....

And I was stating the facts...in an effort to assist new members in the club by minmizing any potential confusion.

If no rider makes all five races, it falls back to the best four races.
That only seems to happen in the pro classes for some reason.
