Oltimer International race at Riverfront w/ extended track, May 5th and 6th
For this weekends Oldtimer Race, Scott has added a whole new section by the old other practice track and making it a 2 mile lap track with new jumps and all new sections with two separate race days for the support classes anyone can race Saturday and or Sunday on this New extended track, should be AWESOME! I can't wait for the rain to pass and supposed to be in the high 80's this weekend!

So, what does it look like out there today?
Are we going to have a sloppy mud race.

Sloppy today, 80 degrees tomarrow and 85 Sunday! Rode last night in the rain with team green, I'm ready for anything!

Jim, how did you do? I watched your races and you were looking good. Those 50 experts were rippin fast!
I had a good weekend out there. I am not at my best on hard-pack but I gave it my all and rode all weekend without crashing. I went 4-2-8-8-6 for 5th over-all. I had 15 riders in my class.
I liked the new section that they added for us. It was really nice to have a long track.

Re: Oltimer International race at Riverfront w/ extended track, May 5th and 6th
A good turn out of international riders at riverfront meant good racing at the extended riverfront track and yes the 50+ expert class was fast! I went 5,4,2,6,3 with old racing nemesis Donnie Sandretto making a clean sweep of the class, starts were critical and wheelied on moto 4 so had the ride up thru the 20 man field and probobly cost me 3rd place as the so cal dude ran well on riverfronts hard pan for 2nd and the Idaho guy rode well for 3rd leaving me forth for the weekend, high point of the weekend was the holeshot in the final moto and led for 3 laps until Donnie got me! as usual Eric McKenna put on a clinic in the premier class and will turn fifty next year!

Sounds like you guys hade a blast at that race. Glad to see you did good Jim. Now if we could just get some more +30 and +40 riders at Riverfront on the 27th for the final round of the E-Street Spring Series. We need more racers our age out there!
