Air filters

i'm just trying to see what everyone else does, but how often do you usually clean and re-oil your filters?

Re: Air filters

No-Toil and Twin Air filters every other ride...

Note that No-Toil breaks down the glue on the Uni Filters. I have only had sucess with No-Toil and Twin-Air fitlers.

If you don't want to spend the money on the cleaner. Powdered Tide detergent or OxyClean does the same exact thing, at a fraction of the cost.

Re: Air filters

clean your filter every time don't be lazy! It's cheap insurance to save your engine, and also can avoid power loss problems. It only takes one time to suck dirt into your engine to make you learn!

Re: Air filters

I have 3 filters clean at all times. Change every ride no matter how short of a ride. Filters are cheap, motors are not.

Re: Air filters

I've said that before in another thread, change it every ride. It only makes sense...
