trying to bring it back

Just wanted to introduce myself, Im Ralph Davis the new manager for scmx. I have been riding and racing in the area since 1984 so I know alot of you or maybe your dads....But we have been working really hard to turn the track around to what it should be like so come on and check it out! We are closed this weekend but return to normal next week. Tues thurs and sunday. Also trying to get us ready to have some friday night racing like back in the days of PAL and Baylands!! But honestly the track is taking alot of work to bring it back from the dead so hopefully not to long ,maybe at the end of july if I think the track is up to standards. So come on out and introduce yourself and lets ride!!

Re: trying to bring it back

I went out there a couple of weeks ago and must say its a HUGE turnaround, the jumps are better the dirt was ripped well and the track stayed pretty wet all day. Good Job Ralph

Re: trying to bring it back

Thanks for working on the track Ralph.

I rode there for the first time about 4 months ago, and thought the layout was ok, but for $25, the prep was non existant. I really thought the track was bad, and vowed to stay away. But hearing some good things lately, and reading your post, I will give her another go, I hope to make SCMX a regular on my rotation of tracks.
