Angry Alpinestars

I didn't want to come on and bash Berik boots for any reason... However, I am currently looking for alpinestars to replace the discontinued model (can't replace any pieces of it) of Berik Contender that I have. Is there any difference between Tech-3 and Tech 4? Thanks for all your help I enjoying reading everyone's posts!

I bought the Tech 3's a while back, and they are REALLY thin. You can feel EVERYTHING ! For 150 bucks....you get what you pay for.

I'm now running the Fox F3's and boyyyyyy, are they a BOOT, or what !

Boots are kinda' like helmets....it pays, to pay.

Re: Alpinestars

Try the Tech 7's, Josh Hill said himself he would rather ride those over the tech 10's any day. he said it depends on how your foot is that will decide which you like better. people complain about the 7's but i tried them and liked them.

Re: Alpinestars

My son seems to like his Tech 3s, but they are only his 2nd pair of boots so he really doesn't have much to compare them to. Next time I get boots for him his feet should be done growing so I'll step it up and get him some real good boots. I wear Tech 6s and I like them OK. I'll step up for myself next time as well. I can't wear Fox boots, they run a little too narrow for me.

yeah the fox boots never fit me and other people have had the same complaint about the shin guard digging into your foot. maybe they changed it for the f3

Re: Alpinestars

I have worn the Tech 3,s and they are thin feeling. I have had sneakers with thicker soles.
