Looking for some info on the Lake Almanor area, specifically on the southwest side around Prattville. I see some trails off of hwy 89 and have seen people riding, just wondering if it's ok to be up there or not.

I have been going up there since 1978 as my dad owns the bakery right out of Chester at Jct 36 and 89. We are headed up there for a week starting July 5 and are taking all the bikes. We are staying in Lake Almanor West. Let me know if you find good riding out that way. I have never ridden up there and dont know what we will find if anything? I havent heard about the restrictions up there.
contact the owner of buffalo chips pizza in westwood (ryan) or the owner of the jet ski boat rental place at pratville, majors outpost... (Joe)... I used to be a local there and if you want to go riding they will tell you the spot. The best riding is in greenville 10 miles away from there.
