Brought home a shiney new 2006 rm 80 for the boy a couple days ago. 2300.00 cash....

now I just have to make the time to take the kid out...his ktm is like new(my fault) if anyone is interested!

Congrats on the new bike for your son! I am sure he will love it and even more he will look forward to riding with you. Enjoy the time you have with him. The clock is ticking, and he will be gone before you realize the years have passed. May you have many great rides together.

David, ditto what Mr Woodward said...The RM is the best bike for a beginner/novice period...I bought my son a CR 85 when he was at that stage and what a pain...If you cant ride WFO the bike just didnt perform, I learned after that the RM has a power valve that regulates the fuel somehow so it isnt so pipey like the old Elsinores we grew up on.....Have fun...It seems like yesterday my son was on one...Now he is 6ft 1 and close to being gone....Man it goes fast!!
